Hello my fellow RolePlayers, Writers and (Some ex)FooPetters! I'm BeccaBelieved! Also known as Becca How are all y'all doing? I have a particular reason for making this post; I hate to admit it, but I am lazy sometimes (plus I was bored!) and I find the bolding and italicizing and other fonts and such are harder and time consuming to make instead of the *'s, _'s, @'s, +'s and whatever else we were used to do to do the same thing on this site as we did on Foo. So I thought I'd create a guide to help! And I will answer any other questions you have Thanks for reading! I appreciate knowing my time wasn't wasted on typing all this if no one cares. Also; I may be adding stuff about moving around the site, so this will be your guide to everything you need to know about this site!

Okay, you don't have to raise your hand on this but how many of your don't even bother trying to italicize or bold your posts? I'm not gonna say your lazy, but I definitely am, simply because it takes longer than it did. So I thought having all the things that I know about fonts and such in one place, explained in detail would be a good idea. Dontcha think?
Alrighty! Lets get started, people. Feel the excitement in the air?
Starting with the basics....
Italicizing and Bolding
Italicizing:
Italicizing is very simple. Just place a before the text you want to italicize, then the same thing with an / in front of it at the end. Like this : [ /i] Just without the space before the /(backslash)
Just copy and paste this ----->
Bolding:
Bolding is also very simple. Very much like the italicizing, only slightly different. Instead of an i in the [] brackets, you put a b. So its a before the words you want bolded and a [ /b] (Without the space before the / backslasb)
Just copy and paste this ----->
Okay, a couple more basics you might want to know
Underlining andCrossing Out
Underlining:
Underling is simple and easy, much like italicizing and bolding. To begin, put a before the word(s) you want underlined, then a [ /u] (without the space before the / backslash)
Just copy and paste this ----->
Crossing Out:
Simple and easy as all the ones above, all you do is put a in front of your words you want to cross out and [ /s] (Without the space before the / backslash)
Just copy and paste this ----->
Moving on to the more difficult....
[glow=purple,2,300]Glowing[/glow] and [shadow=purple,right,300]Shadowing[/shadow]
[glow=purple,2,300]Glowing:[/glow]
Glowing is a bit more difficult from bolding, italics, underlining and crossing out. Instead of putting [glow] Before the letter and [ /glow] (Without the space before / backslash) you have to put [glow=(color),2,300] (Put whatever color you want it to be within the parentheses and takd away the parentheses.) and then you have to put [ /glow] (Without the space before the / backslash) after the end of the words you want glowing. The glow will be the color that is in the parentheses, but if the color doesn't work, you'll just have to try a different color. Over time, I will try to add a list that I know works.
Just copy and paste this ----->
[shadow=purple,left,300]Shadowing:[/shadow]
Shadowing is also more difficult than the first four. It is also a little more difficult than glowing. At the beginning of words you want shadowed you put [shadow=(left or right),(color of choice),300] For the first parentheses, if you want the word justified left, you put left, if you want the word justified right, you put right. At the end of the word you want shadowed, you simply put [ /shadow] (without the space before the backslash)
Just copy and paste this, and edit it to your wishes ----->
I am adding to this; please be patient with me.
If you have any specific questions, just ask me! I will try to answer as quickly as I can!
